The Community Center is easily accessible by public transportation. It is located two blocks from the North Philadelphia Station on the Broad Street Subway. The 54 bus runs on Lehigh Ave. The C Bus stops at Broad and Lehigh. The 2 Bus stops at 17th and Lehigh. The 33 Bus stops at 22nd and Lehigh. See a larger map.

Answers can be as easy as our open door. Even the most difficult questions about substance abuse and dependence are met with the greatest understanding and confidentiality.

Day to day operations at the community center are dependent on the generosity of people like you. Volunteers are very important to us. They contribute time and talent in a variety of ways. Our volunteers see first hand how a supportive community can achieve success and grow as they learn. The community center offers a volunteer training program to provide education and support so volunteers can nurture others and their own recovery.

The Philadelphia Recovery Community Center is a collaboration between the City of Philadelphia, Department of Behavioral Health and Mental Retardation Services and Pennsylvania Recovery Organization Achieving Community Together (PRO-ACT), a grassroots advocacy initiative. The Center offers a unique blend of services geared towards strengthening recovery within an inclusive community-based setting.
