PRO-ACT and The Council are implementing a web service from CCAMP (Community Connection Asset Mapping Process) that will connect community members in recovery to local organizations that support them. This service will include a searchable database of local organizations. We encourage all local businesses and organizations that support recovery to add your organization to this publicly accessible database. Each organization can create a profile including categories, keywords, and activities you specify. Your location will be added to a local map, you can add photos to your profile, and you can tell others in your community what you are looking for—partnerships, volunteers, expertise, meeting space, and more.
Recovery isn’t only about abstinence from alcohol and other drugs; recovery means becoming a fully participating member of the community. There are many ways to support recovery. Does your business, non-profit, coalition, faith community, neighborhood association, or other group:
If yes, or if your organization supports recovery in any other way, we encourage you to create a profile in our database. Adding your organization is free and will increase your visibility when our service is launched to the public.
You may create your profile at any time or view an existing profile to get some ideas. CCAMP will walk you through the process of creating a profile. If you are an organization with many separate projects, each one may create a profile under your umbrella. You may also update your profile(s) to stay current. If you are an individual with a gift or skill you want to share with your community, please contact us to learn how you can participate.
