Administrative Assistant

Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of addiction and recovery issues. Cross-cultural skills, and experience with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work well with people. Knowledge of multiple languages a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Philadelphia Recovery Community Center staff as approved by the Senior Peer Services Coordinator.
- Receptionist duties, greet and welcome visitors.
- Assist customers with requests for information and/or assistance.
- Administrative support to PRCC – routine correspondence, routing mail, assistance with projects/mailings, preparation and support for trainings/meetings.
- Database collection and input; Listserve email management; membership tracking.
- Assemble training materials – may include updating of manuals, etc.
- Other related duties as determined and approved by the Senior Peer Services Coordinator.
Salary Range
$26,270–$41,620 (full time range).
Associate Peer Services Specialist

Full Time, evening and weekend hours as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Minimum two years of successful and progressive experience in program implementation. Experience with supervision of staff and/or volunteers. Experienced in outreach, networking and promotion. Knowledge of alcohol and other drug prevention and an understanding of addiction and recovery issues. Cross-cultural skills and experience working with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrated excellence in written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with data management, Microsoft Filemaker Pro, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of multiple languages a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Peer Services Coordinator in overseeing the delivery of peer recovery support services in their designated area.
- Oversight of physical plant.
- Create an environment to facilitate learning of day-to-day life skills activities: money management, food planning and preparation, assisting with the job search, parenting, supporting members to move forward in their recovery process.
- Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing programs; direct, coordinate and/or facilitate program activities.
- Responsible to train staff in the areas of Recovery Center policy, departmental procedures, addiction related topics.
- Identify, recommend or provide enhancements to ensure or improve program effectiveness, continuity and inter-connectedness between programs.
- Evaluation and data collection.
- Management of daily activities and duties needed to ensure smooth operation of the PRCC.
- Represent the agency in the community or interagency activities. Assist with marketing efforts of the PRCC.
- Coordinate with Telephone Recovery Support Coordinator to support new members in accessing services.
- Other related duties as determined by the Executive Director and/or Senior Peer Services Coordinator.

Senior Peer Services Coordinator

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in human service related field. A minimum of 3 years organizational and supervisory experience. Knowledge of alcohol and other drug prevention with an understanding of recovery issues. Licensing and/or credentialing in the addiction field preferred. Minimum of one year of successful and progressive experience in service/program delivery with a non-profit organization. Cross-cultural skills, and experience with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with general public; knowledge of neighborhood community, faith, social service organizations and businesses; empowerment and group dynamics skills. Must be able to work well with people. Knowledge of multiple languages a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Peer Services Coordinator oversees the delivery of peer recovery support services in their designated area.
- Peer recovery support services development, coordination, implementation and management at local level. Assist with establishment of Philadelphia Recovery Center.
- Develop effective strategies for Center sustainability; commitment to assist with the expansion of additional RCCs in Philadelphia.
- Manages site logistics.
- Volunteer supervision, scheduling.
- Membership development, membership relations.
- Public relations and event planning.
- Needs assessments, strengths assessments (Recovery Assets Mapping Project implementation and management).
- Evaluation, data collection – reporting requirements, oversight of record keeping and reporting.

Telephone Recovery Support Coordinator

Position Summary
The Telephone Recovery Support Manager oversees and promotes the Telephone Recovery Support program and ensures a steady number of referrals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Development and oversight of the Telephone Recovery Support program; establishment as a nationally-recognized model.
- Work with Philadelphia recovery support services and treatment providers to develop a steady flow of recovering individuals (outreach).
- Supervise Telephone Recovery Support Volunteers.
- Market/promote PRCC and the Telephone Recovery Support program in all venues.
- Evaluation and extensive data collection.
- Produce reports as required by Executive Director and Senior Peer Services Coordinator.
- Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing RCC programs; direct, coordinate and/or facilitate RCC program activities.
- Ensure that program runs efficiently; all calls made in timely manner.
- Volunteer recruitment, evaluation, retention.
- Work with Volunteer Manager to coordinate all necessary training.
- Represent the agency in the community or interagency activities.
- Assist with marketing efforts of the PRCC.
- Coordinate with Associate Peer Service Coordinator to support new members in accessing services.

Volunteer Coordinator

Knowledge of alcohol and other drug prevention and an understanding of recovery issues and core addiction practices. Must be able to work well with people and be comfortable with public speaking; cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to multi-task. Knowledge of multiple languages a plus. Current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, insurance and vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide outreach, screening, selection, support and training of Recovery Community Center volunteers.
- Recruit, interview, screen, train, provide orientation and place volunteers for Philadelphia recovery support programs. Nurture volunteers to improve their connection to the organization.
- Provide communications, training, and coordination and support to mobilized membership.
- Assure proper supervision of volunteers; maintain volunteer records and schedules; interpret Council policies for the volunteers.
- Maintain project logs, reports and records.
- Assist with community awareness campaigns. Coach and provide technical assistance to campaign committees, correspondence and mailings for Philadelphia PRO-ACT committees.
- Manage PRO-ACT database with all incoming and outgoing information; data collection and reporting.
- Assist in coordination and implementation of regional and local leadership trainings.
- Work with other staff to implement member educational series and meetings.
- Provide training and technical assistance to established local groups.
- Other related duties as determined and approved by Project Director.
