The 18th annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month is a commemoration that occurs throughout September, nationwide. This year’s theme, “Join the Voices for Recovery: Saving Lives, Saving Dollars,” focuses on the financial and human costs of substance use disorders and helps individuals understand the benefits that investing in treatment can have on those who enter recovery, their families, and the larger community.
